About me
I am a technically driven problem solver with a strong background in industrial maintenance, advanced manufacturing technologies, and energy systems — now focused on efficiency engineering and consultancy.
My career started at Niko in Sint-Niklaas, where I developed a solid technical foundation as a Maintenance Technician before growing into an Intervention Technician role. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment taught me the importance of reliability, structured troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and minimizing production downtime.
I later joined Kim’s Chocolates, where I expanded my experience across multiple production lines and eventually moved into a Team Leader position. There, I combined technical expertise with operational leadership, coordinating teams while maintaining performance, continuity, and efficiency on the production floor.
Driven by innovation and advanced manufacturing, I transitioned into industrial 3D printing at Materialise in Leuven. As a Maintenance Technician and Maintenance Engineer, I worked with highly advanced production systems including SLS and HP Multi Jet Fusion platforms. My role extended beyond machine maintenance alone — I also supported project engineering, installations, commissioning, optimization, and acted as a bridge between technical operations and engineering projects.
From there, I moved into entrepreneurship, focusing on the energy transition and system efficiency. As a self-employed professional, I work with solar energy systems, battery storage, heat pumps, HVAC, EV charging infrastructure, and smart energy management solutions.
Today, my focus is evolving further towards consultancy and efficiency engineering. I combine industrial experience, technical knowledge, and real-world energy expertise to help companies and individuals improve performance, optimize processes, reduce operational costs, and implement future-proof technical systems.
My approach is pragmatic, analytical, and system-oriented — not just looking at individual components, but at how the entire system performs together.
